„The Book of Mormon” ist mit insgesamt vier Awards (bestes Musical, bester Haupt- und bester Nebendarsteller, beste Choreografie) das am meisten ausgezeichnete Musical bei der diesjährigen Laurence-Olivier-Award-Verleihung. Dazu erhielten „Once”, „Merrily We Roll Along” und „Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” je zwei Preise. Leer gingen hingegen “The Scottsboro Boys” und “The Light Princess” aus. Die Auszeichnungen für das beste Licht und den besten Sound wurden doppelt vergeben.
